About

  • Book Author - 0
  • Born 1950, in the island state of Trinidad and Tobago, Vernon Clarke is now a retired architect who specialized in Tropical Architecture, which he practiced in his native land and, for almost half of his life, in Curacao. Because of his wide and varied interests, professional and otherwise, he has served several non-profit civic entities in a leadership capacity and, as well, has founded special-interest canine and other civic groups and organizations. Apart from his work in the consulting and construction industries, Mr. Clarke has manifest skills as a teacher, writer and publisher, wood working craftsman, food and beverage innovator, public speaker, and lastly, as an amateur astronomer with a passion that has, in three decades, permitted him to bring the wonders of the cosmos to the minds of the uninitiated. His previously published literary works include the 2017 – Tropical Architectural Homes, (a collection of architectural designs for modern residences in the tropics), and My Perian Spring, (a 2024 collection of his previous writings of poems, short stories, political and social commentaries).
